The Logo

The ILIGAN MEDICAL CENTER COLLEGE NURSING ALUMNI ASSOCIATION logo has four leaves, a hand encompassing the heart with a lamp, a caduceus, a cap with a red cross, and on top of it, an eagle…

The FOUR LEAVES represents the four core values that Iligan Medical Center College embraces: God-centered, concern for the environment, patriotism, and self-propelled.

The HAND represents teamwork that makes all the dream work.

The HEART signifies oneness in the alumni mission-vision, and letting go of personal gains, power to dominate, favor, recognition, rewards, or lording over alumni members.

The LAMP represents “THE LIGHT OF GOD” that empowers every nurse and bring hope to every clientele especially those suffering in pain and affliction.

The CADUCEUS represents the alumni nurses active participation and collaboration with other members of the allied medical health team.

The CAP WITH A RED CROSS represents the nurse’s purity in the performance of duty and responsibility to care and protect life.

And above all, the EAGLE represents excellence as a culture of nursing practice and lifestyle.

nicely done april (not sure w/ the use of red cross) and thanks for posting so members can also share their ideas and comment. to make sure it will be all okey, kindly coordinate with the local Red Cross about using the word “Red Cross” especially if the emblem will be in the cap.
